The Financial Analyst will play a critical role on SpyCloud’s Finance team, driving data-informed decision-making through rigorous financial analysis and strategic insight. Reporting directly to the VP of Finance, this individual will collaborate cross-functionally to build forecasting models, streamline reporting, and support strategic initiatives that fuel our growth. You’ll work in an agile, high-impact environment where your work directly influences the financial health and operational strategy of a cybersecurity innovator on a mission to disrupt the criminal underground.
What You'll Do:
- Build and maintain dynamic financial models to support forecasting, budgeting, long-range planning, and strategic decision-making. Develop and maintain robust financial models to support forecasting, budgeting, long-range planning, and strategic decision-making.
- Prepare and deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting packages for management, including financial statements, variance analysis, and SaaS metrics.
- Analyze key financial and operational data to surface insights and trends that support leadership decision-making.
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Revenue Operations, Product, and other teams to provide financial support for headcount planning, ROI analysis, and investment prioritization.
- Assist with financial reviews by researching variances, identifying trends, and supporting alignment to budget and forecast targets.
- Build and refine dashboards and reporting frameworks using Excel, Google Sheets, or BI platforms to monitor KPIs and performance benchmarks.
- Contribute to Board-level materials and investor communications through presentation support and scenario modeling.
- Contribute to the development of scalable processes and tools for financial planning and analysis as the company grows.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance or investment banking; experience in SaaS or high-growth tech preferredSaaS or high-growth tech experience strongly preferred.
- Advanced Excel and/or Google Sheets skills with strong experience in financial modeling and scenario analysis.
- Solid understanding of financial statements and ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Familiarity with ERP and CRM systems (e.g., NetSuite, Salesforce) preferred.
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
Nice to Have:
- Experience in cybersecurity, venture-backed startup environments, or investment banking.
- Exposure to Board-level financial reporting packages and cadence.
