Overview of Job/Team:
SpyCloud is looking for a driven, curious, and motivated People Operations Intern to join our People Operations team as part of our Summer Early Talent Program! This 9-week hybrid internship in Austin, TX is designed to provide real-world experience, hands-on learning, and meaningful mentorship. At SpyCloud, we believe in learning by doing, which is why our interns work on real, high-impact projects that contribute to our mission.
Internship Details:
- Required Hybrid Schedule: In-Office Wednesdays at our South Congress office (additional in-office days may be requested by your team)
- Dates: June 4 - August 6
- Hourly Rate: $20/hr
What You'll Do:
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of core People initiatives, including onboarding, internal communications, talent acquisition, and learning & development
- Support the organization and maintenance of People-related documentation, processes, and tools
- Assist with L&D initiatives by helping coordinate content, upload learning resources, and support rollout planning
- Help brainstorm and plan internal campaigns to boost employee engagement and adoption of new People programs
- Collaborate cross-functionally with other teams to gather feedback and ensure alignment on key People priorities
- Gain hands-on experience in data organization, project coordination, and strategic thinking within a high-growth company
Requirements:
- Enrolled in an undergraduate college program and currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, Communications, or a related field.
- Available to work up to 40 hours per week during the summer term.
- Based in Austin, TX, with the ability to come into the office once a week (Wednesdays).
- A passion for learning, collaboration, and innovation—we want interns who are curious, proactive, and excited to grow!
Nice to Have
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Familiarity with tools like Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides)
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable handling and organizing data or documentation
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Curious mindset and willingness to learn across multiple areas of People Ops
- A collaborative, team-first attitude and a proactive work style
- Strong interpersonal skills and a natural enthusiasm for helping others feel included and valued
- Bonus: Familiarity with HRIS systems, LinkedIn Learning, or basic project management tools
