Who You Are

You are a highly analytical and business-minded finance professional who thrives in a fast-paced SaaS environment. You enjoy partnering cross-functionally with GTM leaders to translate data into actionable insights and drive better decision-making. You are proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable operating in ambiguity, with a strong bias toward ownership and impact. You are also curious and continuously look for ways to improve workflows, including leveraging AI and automation to increase efficiency.

Candidates based in the Austin TX area will be strongly preferred

What You’ll Do

  • Financial Modeling & Planning: Own and continuously refine the company’s GTM and operating model. Build driver-based forecasts, scenario analyses, and long-range plans that directly inform executive decision-making. Develop a deep understanding of key business drivers and proactively identify risks and opportunities.

  • Reporting & Insights: Lead monthly and quarterly reporting for leadership, including KPI dashboards, BvA analysis, and executive-ready materials. Go beyond reporting to surface actionable insights and recommendations that influence business outcomes.

  • Business Partnering (GTM): Serve as a strategic partner to Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success leadership. Support go-to-market strategy, capacity modeling, and resource allocation; challenge assumptions and help drive accountability to targets and efficiency metrics.

  • Commissions & Incentives: Own commission modeling and oversee monthly commission calculations with a high degree of accuracy and rigor. Partner with RevOps to ensure alignment between comp plans, financial reporting, and business strategy; continuously improve processes and scalability.

  • Data & Revenue Analysis: Work closely with RevOps and Data teams to build a consistent view of ARR, pipeline, expansion, churn, and retention. Translate complex data into clear business insights; develop a strong point of view on SaaS unit economics and performance drivers.

  • Systems & Process Scaling: Help build a best-in-class FP&A function by improving systems, data integrity, and reporting frameworks across SFDC, FP&A tools, data warehouse, and ERP. Drive automation and eliminate manual processes where possible.

  • AI & Workflow Optimization: Actively identify opportunities to improve efficiency by leveraging AI tools and automation. Continuously look for ways to streamline workflows, reduce manual effort, and scale the impact of the FP&A function.

  • Strategic Initiatives: Support high-impact projects including annual planning, long-range planning, and board materials. Evaluate investment decisions and business cases with a strong analytical and commercial lens.

Preferred Qualification

  • Experience: 3–6+ years in FP&A, investment banking, consulting, or SaaS finance, with direct experience supporting a high-growth SaaS business

  • Experience working with SaaS portfolio companies for at least 2 years is a must.

  • SaaS & GTM: Strong understanding of SaaS metrics (ARR, retention, pipeline, CAC) and experience partnering with GTM teams

  • Technical Skills: Advanced financial modeling and strong analytical capabilities; comfortable working with large datasets

  • Systems: Experience with Salesforce (SFDC) and modern FP&A/data tools (e.g., Abacum, Snowflake, SQL); exposure to commission tools is a plus

  • Communication: Strong ability to translate data into clear insights and influence cross-functional stakeholders

  • Mindset: High ownership, attention to detail, and ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment

  • Innovation & Initiative: A self-starter who proactively identifies opportunities to improve processes and actively leverages AI and automation tools to increase efficiency and scale impact
