This role reports to the Chief Marketing Officer. The VP of Revenue Marketing is part of Ontic’s Marketing Leadership Team, collaborating closely with peers leading Product Marketing and Brand & Communications to deliver an integrated go-to-market strategy.

Responsibilities

The Fundamentals

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive revenue marketing strategy that aligns demand generation, field marketing, and events to Ontic’s pipeline and growth objectives.

  • Lead, grow, and mentor a multidisciplinary marketing team with clear performance metrics tied to pipeline creation, acceleration, and conversion.

  • Design and execute integrated campaigns across digital, content, and events, tuned to high-value personas and account segments.

  • Partner closely with Sales leadership to ensure shared accountability for pipeline targets, territory success, and opportunity creation.

  • Manage and optimize the revenue marketing budget and technology stack to maximize efficiency, measurement, and ROI.

  • Monitor and report on marketing-sourced and influenced pipeline, making data-driven recommendations for improvement.

Leadership & Collaboration

  • Serve as a member of Ontic’s Marketing Leadership Team, collaborating with peers in Product Marketing and Brand & Communications to align strategy, messaging, and execution.

  • Build a culture of ownership and empowerment — you develop people, not just programs.

  • Lead through clarity and curiosity: set direction, remove barriers, and coach your team to grow.

  • Foster a collaborative relationship with Sales, helping both teams operate as one unified pipeline engine.

  • Model the Ontic Marketing ethos of “Marketing leads the way” — being early adopters, trying new things, and showing what great looks like across channels and experiences.

Qualifications

  • 12+ years of progressive experience in B2B marketing with a focus on pipeline generation; 6+ years in a senior leadership role.

  • Proven success leading integrated revenue marketing functions across demand generation, field, and events in a growth-stage SaaS environment.

  • Experience marketing to large enterprises or regulated industries (security, compliance, government, etc.) is preferred.

  • Strong command of modern marketing tech stack: marketing automation, ABM platforms, CRM, analytics, and personalization tools.

  • Expert-level understanding of campaign measurement, pipeline attribution, and ROI modeling.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead and scale high-performing, cross-functional marketing teams.

  • Excellent communicator and strategic partner to sales, product, and executive leadership.

  • Embracing AI and automation to improve marketing performance, accelerate testing, and scale impact.
