Position Overview and Key Responsibilities:
As an Operations Manager at Modicus Prime, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing and managing the operational aspects of our platform and suite of products. Our offerings are cloud-based applications that automate various AI/ML services, supporting our customers in implementing AI/ML within a regulated environment. You will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end implementation of business strategies into efficient operational processes, including designing scalable solutions, managing resource allocation, and ensuring seamless deployment of our services.
You will collaborate with cross-functional team members, including data scientists, DevOps engineers, and quality assurance specialists, to ensure high-quality deliverables that meet business objectives and customer needs. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving, meticulous attention to detail, adherence to operational best practices, and a passion for innovation to enable AI/ML usage in high-impact industries. Given the regulated nature of our environment, our operations team prioritizes best practices in process automation to streamline day-to-day workflows and maximize efficiency.
This role is U.S.-based, and visa sponsorship cannot be accommodated at this time.
Basic Qualifications:
Experience: 4+ years of experience in operations management, preferably within the technology or pharmaceutical industries.
Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of cloud-based platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and manage cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and achieving operational excellence.
Process Optimization: Expertise in designing and implementing scalable operational processes and continuous improvement initiatives.
Project Management: Proficient in project management methodologies and tools, with a track record of successfully managing complex projects.
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to identify and resolve complex operational issues.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of effectively interacting with diverse teams and stakeholders.
Additional Preferred Qualifications:
AI/ML Operations: Experience in managing operations for AI/ML applications, including deploying and maintaining machine learning models in production.
MLOps Practices: Knowledge of MLOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines for machine learning models and model monitoring in production.
Scalable Infrastructure: Understanding of scaling cloud infrastructure in a cost-effective and reliable manner.
Business Intelligence: Experience with business intelligence tools and creating operational reports to drive decision-making.
Additional Information:

2. Job Type: Full-time
3. Pay (with equity): $130k - $150k depending on skills and/or qualifications
