About the role

Job Summary

As the Credentialing and Pre-Onboarding Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing the pre-onboarding and credentialing process for new and existing hires in our organization. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the verification of licenses and certifications, ensuring compliance with state and school requirements, and maintaining accurate records of credentialing documents of new and existing employees and contractors. Additionally, you will be responsible for managing the pre-onboarding process and providing support to new hires as they navigate through our systems and procedures.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Manage Credentialing and Pre-Onboarding Process For New Hires

  • Communicate with new hires throughout the pre-onboarding process. Observe, listen and understand the needs of new hires and advocate for their interests and perspectives by identifying key issues

  • Create and standardize best practices for new hire onboarding with a constant focus on continuous improvement and innovation

  • Send welcome emails, including the onboarding checklist, to new hires and conduct welcome calls

  • Verify and upload credentials into the HRIS and Google Drive

  • Gather and upload provider bios

  • Follow up with new hires to ensure a timely start date

  • Send engagement emails, i.e. Welcome Video from CEO

  • Send “Clear to Start” email to stakeholders when new hire completes credentialing requirements

Manage Credentialing for Existing Employees and Contractors

  • Process new state or new school credentialing requests

  • Schedule call with employee or contractor to review checklist

  • Verify and upload credentials into the HRIS for new and expiring credentials

  • Follow up as needed to ensure timeliness of credentialing

  • Send email to stakeholders once credentialing is completed

Systems and Procedures

  • Assist in rescinding offers by providing required documentation from new hire

  • Create new Onboarding Checklists for new states and/or specialties

  • Change start dates in HRIS as needed

  • Submit provider credentials to Pearson schools

  • Meet department goals and ensure the smooth and successful onboarding of new hires

Meeting/Project Management

  • Participate in HRIS projects which may consist with creating agendas, frameworks, and feedback

  • Collaborate with HR for document reviews and feedback.

  • Lead weekly meetings with Student Services team

  • Other department administrative duties and special projects as assigned


Qualifications

Education and Experience:

  • Experience onboarding in an healthcare and educational professionals

  • Multistate onboarding experience

  • Understand federal and state background check process

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Excellent Technology & Computer proficiency, including the ability to learn new digital platforms.

  • Excellent communication and problem solving skills

  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to champion a smooth and seamless onboarding process for our providers

  • Welcoming and friendly demeanor with the innate ability to make our providers feel valued and prioritized

  • Strong work ethic and experience performing with a sense of urgency, attention to detail, consistent follow-through, and ability to thrive in our fast-paced environment

  • Solution and process improvement-oriented with a willingness to identify problems and be accountable for discovering and implementing options for resolution

  • Ability to successfully work in a team environment

Compensation
  • Compensation to be determined based on experience and qualifications. The salary range for this position is between $50,000-$55,000 per year.
