About the role

The Account Executive will be in charge of selling directly to school districts, charter schools, and other educational facilities. The position will include prospecting, presenting to mid-level and C-level leadership, helping negotiate contracts, helping fulfill contracts, and other sales and marketing responsibilities. Pay is base plus commission with a flexible schedule and great potential.

In the past, the organization's primary growth has come from existing clients through minimal sales efforts. We are now looking to put together a sales team to grow and generate new business. The company is seeking sales professionals with 2-10 years of experience.

What you'll do

  • Own full sales cycle, from prospecting to close.

  • Use email marketing and outbound calling to build leads. Conduct thoughtful research on target accounts to turn cold calls into warm calls.

  • Using your creativity and excellent communication skills, initiate quality conversations with target accounts.

  • Build your book of business and own the relationships in schools and districts.

  • Work with our school districts to understand their needs and best position HelloHero’s services.

  • Build and nurture relationships with district contacts using thoughtful messaging and resources.

  • Represent HelloHero at Special Education related meetings and conferences.

  • Virtually deliver engaging presentations that allow schools and districts to better how live, online therapy sessions are conducted.

  • Average travel time is 10% annually.


Qualifications

Education and Experience:

  • A passion for improving the lives of underserved children and their families.

  • At least two years of sales experience in educational or EdTech products/services.

  • Track record of successful sales in the K-12 space.

  • Results-driven, professional, and motivated by helping a team achieve aggressive goals.

  • Metrics-oriented: You understand what your daily, weekly, and monthly activities must be for you to achieve personal goals.

  • A motivated self-starter who can master the art of managing the activities required to hit personal and company revenue goals.

  • Creative in their approach to building the sales pipeline.

  • An individual with a high-level of organization who follows up and follows through in a timely manner with prospects.

  • Strong communication skills. You must be comfortable engaging in conversations on the phone, in Zoom meetings, and in groups.

  • Team player: It’s critical that you execute a well-developed success plan that is constructed and agreed upon by you and your account team.

  • Objection handling does not scare you. You prepare for, practice objection handling scenarios, and use success stories to redirect the conversation.

  • Positive attitude and solution-oriented.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Excellent Technology & Computer proficiency, including the ability to learn new digital platforms.

  • Reliable Wi-Fi/Internet access.

  • Distraction-free work environment.

  • Flexibility and adaptability in day-to-day operations.

Compensation
  • Compensation to be determined based on experience and qualifications. Pay is base plus commission.
