About the Job

BILT is hiring a Senior Front-End / Full-Stack Developer to create and maintain scalable UI systems for our customer, ensuring performance and security for government contracts. Due to the requirements of our government contract, this position requires U.S. citizenship.

Qualifications

· Implement features and UI designs for optimal performance and seamless user experiences.

· Integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services for functionality.

· Collaborate with Back-end, QA and UX teams to deliver high quality apps.

· Troubleshoot and resolve front-end performance issues.

· Ensure compliance with government security and data standards.

· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

· 5+ years of front-end development experience in SaaS or mobile environments.

· Experience with government contracts and secure API development.

· Strong experience with React, TypeScript and TanStack Query

· Experience with vitest for unit testing

· Experience with 3D rendering, graphics pipelines, or real-time renderers.

· Experience in Agile/Scrum including Daily Scrum, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, Sprint Retrospectives.

· Solid experience with Code Reviews, providing constructive feedback and ensuring code quality across the team.

· Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

· An unwavering desire to not only “satisfy” our customers, but to “delight” them.

· U.S. citizenship is required due to government contract stipulations.

Technical Skills

Frontend: React, TypeScript, TanStack Query, Component libraries, Unit Testing (vitest)
Backend: Python, FastAPI, Pydantic v2, OpenAPI, Unit Testing (pytest)
Databases: SQL and NoSQL databases including PostgreSQL and DynamoDB
Cloud Provider: AWS, AWS GovCloud
Tools: Docker, Git, Jenkins

Nice To Have

· Back-end development with Python.

· Working knowledge of native AWS services such ECS, ECR, ALB/NLB, API Gateway, SNS, SQS, Cognito, Aurora RDS, DynamoDB.

· FedRAMP/Impact Level compliance, government contracting, or regulated environments.

· Startup experience.

Work Environment

· This role is based at BILT’s Global Brand Support Center in Grapevine, Texas, near DFW Airport and Southlake Town Square.

· Routine use of standard office equipment (computers, tablets, phones, email, and Microsoft Teams).

· Physical demands include prolonged computer use and occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds.

· Office hours: 8:30 AM–5:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with convenient parking and nearby amenities.
