About the Job

BILT is hiring a Senior iOS Engineer to create and maintain high-performance mobile applications for government clients leveraging Swift and iOS frameworks. Due to the requirements of our government contract, this position requires U.S. citizenship.

Qualifications

· Develop, test, and maintain iOS applications using Swift and Objective-C.

· Implement features and UI designs for optimal performance and seamless user experiences.

· Integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services for functionality.

· Ensure compliance with Apple’s guidelines and government security standards.

· Collaborate with Backend, QA and UX teams to deliver high quality apps.

· Optimize apps for performance, scalability, and accessibility.

· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

· 5+ years of iOS development experience.

· Experience with government or enterprise mobile apps preferred.

· Experience in Agile/Scrum including Daily Scrum, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, Sprint Retrospectives.

· Solid experience with Code Reviews, providing constructive feedback and ensuring code quality across the team.

· Strong knowledge of iOS frameworks and Swift.

· Proven track record of publishing apps to the AppStore.

· Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

· An unwavering desire to not only “satisfy” our customers, but to “delight” them.

· U.S. citizenship is required due to government contract stipulations.

· Frameworks: UIKit, SwiftUI, Core Data

· Tools: Xcode, TestFlight, Git, Jira

· APIs: REST

· Architecture: MVVM (Model-View-ViewModel), MVC (Model-View-Controller)

· Certifications: Apple Developer Certification (preferred)

Nice To Have

· FedRAMP/Impact Level compliance, government contracting, or regulated environments.

· Experience with ARKit, RealityKit, 3D rendering, graphics pipelines, or real-time renderers.

· Startup experience.

Work Environment

· This role is based at BILT’s Global Brand Support Center in Grapevine, Texas, near DFW Airport and Southlake Town Square.

· Routine use of standard office equipment (computers, tablets, phones, email, and Microsoft Teams).

· Physical demands include prolonged computer use and occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds.

· Office hours: 8:30 AM–5:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with convenient parking and nearby amenities.
