As an AlertMedia Senior Product Manager you will have a primary role in setting the vision for our products while also playing an integral part in the day-to-day activities to make the vision a reality. You’ll be joining a Product team that is represented at the highest levels of management and runs as a ‘flat’ organization, where every team member contributes strategically and tactically.

What you get to do every day:

  • Own the definition and communication of a product vision based on input from internal/external stakeholders, financial goals, industry trends, etc.
  • Act as a product evangelist both inside and outside the company
  • Lead and drive the development, approval, and ongoing management of a product roadmap that creates a path to achieving the product vision
  • Define, maintain and execute product development methodology
  • Oversight of the product lifecycle from ideation to retirement
  • Lead and participate in the definition of new capabilities
  • Ensure smooth handoff of product requirements to Agile PM/Product Operations and Engineering teams
  • Help ensure the successful execution of product launch plans as needed
  • Ensure that ‘dependent’ teams, like Customer Success and Sales, are well-equipped to perform their jobs
  • Inspire and drive activity cross-functionally through information sharing, persuasion, and mutual respect
  • Work directly with customers to improve adoption and satisfaction, provide guidance, and gather information
  • Provide executive briefings on product status, planning, and roadmap as needed
  • Define, instrument, and analyze key product metrics that measure progress toward primary business objectives
  • Build measurable, fact-based business cases for new products and capabilities
  • Analyze customer and market data to help quantify new product opportunities

What you bring to the role:

  • Minimum of 7+ years Product Management experience, ideally at least 2 years in a senior role
  • B2B experience working with SMB to enterprise customers
  • Operates in an ego-less manner while still being a strong leader
  • Anility to establish and grow relationships both inside and outside the company
  • Strategically focused and tactically excellent
  • Resourceful and refuses to give up when the path isn’t clear
  • Consistently delivers quality work on schedule
  • A creative thinker that considers problems and opportunities from every angle
  • Ability to lead cross functional teams without formal authority
  • Personal ownership of product and company success
  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills
  • Willingness to be an individual contributor as well as a leader

Highly valued:

  • Experience in critical event management, mass communications, threat intelligence or related industries
  • Familiarity with Tableau, Gainsight, or other related analytics products
  • Technical background including understanding of integration technologies like APIs and Webhooks
  • Experience working with and/or development of products utilizing machine learning and/or generative AI
